Do you care for someone who has dementia?
Would you like to meet others in your situation?
The first service on the 11th March 2019 was arranged by the Parish of Rochester and since then each parish has in turn taken responsibility to plan and lead the worship.
The service is for all people living with dementia, their partners, their carers, and their friends, wherever they live in their own home or a Care Home. The format is Café style and refreshments are served after the service.
The Worship is designed to meet the needs of people with dementia, and includes familiar hymns and prayers as well as a practical craft type of activity
Do encourage and help anyone you know who has dementia, or cares for someone with dementia, to come along. There will be a warm welcome.
